fantasy football

this is me, sporting some traditional indian garb, wearing a nametag, which serves as a usuful tool traveling abroads, as well is being a touch ghetto. camo backback and vietnamese wicker hat/a headwrap underneath. last but not least in my jet waiting in the background so i can jet after your crushing defeat, not to celebrate in your town and rub it in.

i am in 4 football league and 3 basketball leagues. i am in the finals in 3 out of 4 in football. the fourth being the league of my last employment where i fittingly got knocked of the playoffs by 25pts. ending the year strong w/ 4 wins in a row but it wasn't enough after i terrible start. forte and jennings doomed my season + my first draft was overall shitty. next year bitches.

my basketball teams are solid. this is my first year doing this shit and i wish i had got on board a long time ago. next year we will create a couple of our own leagues hit me up if you want to get on board.

[BATTLE OF THE BAY 09'] DHB VS. CRABTREE

HEY NINER FANS....first of all you need to be grateful at the opportunity we RAIDERS gave you by not picking up crabtree. we have been ridiculed by every organization associated with football. at first i was upset a lil bit, so then i decided to do some of my own research. i listened to the coach's reasons for picking DHB. actually i was not really that surprised at the pick i just thought we might have been able to get him later. being a avid madden fan, i know drafts can be real unpredictable. its the nature of the business. teams don't share their plans with each other. it was rumored philly was real interested in DHB and was willing to trade up. we did what we had to. his physical attributes fit RAIDER BALL. he had 3 different QB's in three years, no time to build any chemistry. none of his QB's had half the arm JaMarcus has.
most importantly he is signed and in camp. for all you people that bash the GREAT AL DAVIS.
i understand, you are just so used to the COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE that we have established, that you've just been a lost for words the past couple of years. we might have had two more SUPERBOWLS to add to the trophy case if it wasn't for the fuckin brady rule, and the trade of our coach to the team would be our SUPERBOWL foes the same year. we didn't have a chance. and since then it has taken us some time to regain our form.

as far as crabtree goes, watching him in college i was praying he would be available when i was our turn to pick. his injury didn't concern me that much since he was such a beast. that catch that beat texas was for all the marbles, he was double covered, everyone knew the ball was going to him and he got it anyway, had to still break some tackles to score and he made it happen. luckily he was in a offensive systems that got him the ball often. finding talent is one thing, but finding talent that won't get too big headed for your system and lockeroom is another. it was also rumored that crabtree had no desire to be a RAIDER, therefore RAIDERNATION has no desire for the crab. we thought there might be the possibility of another hold-out and that is a distraction we would rather not have right now.

i think crabtree has better hands, but the spread offense doesn't work the same in the pro's
DHB was in a pro-style offense which will help his learning curve. he is already in camp, which will help his learning curve & he was happy to be a RAIDER. the NINERS still have no QB, sounds like the issues DHB had to deal with at Maryland. so lets see how the two new receivers in the bay adjust. i predict that DHB will outplay the crab. crab will miss most of camp. crab will be effective but slow. DHB has more to prove, and with the tools we already have in place just has to do his job, nothing more. he is not the saviour of the team, just a missing piece to the championship puzzle. the RAIDERS will be this years sleeper mark my words.

leash law?

look likes my dude gained a little weight, locked away. i think he has had plenty of time to go over all his mistakes. plenty of time to reconsider who his real friends are. plenty of time to figure out how he would do it all over again. now i would first say we must always be appreciative of each and every opportunity we receive. so i am happy he is at least some way reinstated and he had better get used to those cameras. it's a trip to me how other peoples shortcomings become major news because they are in the spotlight and get paid so much. i think this case more than any besides the whole oj simpson fiasco that has made you question justice. everyone was mad when oj got off. some people think this man deserves a lifelong punishment. you would think vick had a global dog fighting operation that enslaved every puppy on the planet. again donte stallworth spent 24days of 30day sentence for d.u.i. manslaughter. vick on the other hand has just spent the past 23months in Leavenworth prison. one of the cruelest prison systems in the country, all the way in the midwest when his crime was committed on the east coast, but that's a different story. now to appease all the people that like dogs more than black people he must sit out at least 6 more games this season. to the commish he has to prove he can sit up straight, fetch, roll over and of course play dead. and this is all supposedly to help. excuse me roger but when is enough enough? and by the way where the fuck is the rule book, please!!!? you seem to be making this shit up as you go along. we fully understand that playing in the national football league is a privilege, well so is having fans, and i think the majority of us feel the man has suffered enough. so can we get back to football and leave playing god to god please thanks.

pretty ricky

this dude was one of my favorites growing up. i loved his stance and his power, oh and his speed. i modeled my game after him. i used to like willie randolph at the time i was living in nyc. so i played second base, but when i was introduce to ricky henderson and everything change. in my opinion the best lead off hitter of all-time and a top 5 player of all time. he could do it all. hit for power, draw a walk, steal 2nd,3rd and maybe home was a beast in the outfield and had a rocket arm, what more could you ask for. he was durable, almost like a clean up hitter with speed batting first. 22 seasons 14 with oakland. he is an oakland hero and legend. today was his day. no hormone crap just pure love and desire for his craft. we salute you ricky henderson. job well done bro.

FREE AT LAST

who else can do this. in position threatening to pass a bomb or dip on that ass. now i just want to quickly get out the way. i do think dog fighting is cruel, but they are other cruel forms of entertainment that exist. the man got caught, i looked at some of the pictures of the dogs. i will save you being grossed out, they looked terrible. seems like mercy killings in a gladiator sport involving animals bred to fight. nobody cares about how the chickens we eat are being treated. they are bred to die. cows bred to die. the man plays a gladiator sport, came up in a gladiator hood, was introduced to this carnage at an early age. what the fuck. we know he ain't the brightest light bulb, surrounded by family that would rat him out. he lost 70 mil. of a 10year contract, mad endorsements became public enemy number it seems for a lifetime over some animals. meanwhile stallworth killed someone driving drunk and was only in jail 3 months. little killed someone driving d.u.i. and i think only missed 8 games and spent 3 months in jail. what if an NFL player ran over a dog while drunk. would they get the same treatment as vick. some people like some weird shit. some people drink. some do drugs. some like s&m shit. i feel as long as you don't invade my space with it. i say this because dogfighting did not stop cause vick got caught. brotha was just too dark getting paid way too much for "america" not to make a big deal about it and dramatize it like the oj case. if that shit was romo they would have kept it neat. i am glad he is out. he was definitely my favorite player before his incarceration. i was in the atl at the time, and remember praying there would be a trade made so we could draft him, and that shit actually happened. he has paid a hefty price and will probably continue paying for a lifetime just read the comments on any sports blog. people have a great capacity to hate, its sad. i support change and growth, who knows when there will ever be another talent like him, the least we can to know is support the system that is suppose to lock your ass away and make you a better citizen right. i will be wearing my mike vick jersey today, i hope someone in the NFL gives the brotha a chance.

sheed to celtics

a young sheed and wilt

its really getting interesting. i can't remember an off-season like this. its almost like a second draft. every team re-tooling in areas of need. superstars putting aside their egos for a chance for a ring. everyone in this generation looks back at the barkelys and malones and webers that had all the talent in the world but no ring to show for it. i think this move makes the celtics the favorite now. turk left orlando and he will be hard to replace. we will see how the vince carter thing works out. cleveland and shaq will be very interesting to see how he holds up, what kind a shape he shows up in. the potential is there we will see after a couple of weeks. but sheed and kg in the front court causes match up problems everywhere with a paul pierce a ray allen and a darting all over the place rajon rondo. i can' t wait to see what happens next.
